Shakhraichuk’s team will play six friendly matches
Ukrainian national ice hockey team went to Hungarywhere to spend camp before the world championship in division 1B.
Head coach Vadim Shakhraichuk invited 26 players to the camp. As part of the training camp, it is planned to hold six control matches, including against the representative of the top division – the Hungarian national team.
The composition of the Ukrainian national ice hockey team:
Goalkeepers: Bogdan Dyachenko (Sokol), Eduard Zakharchenko (Dnepr).
Defenders: Vitaliy Andreikiv (Zaglebie, Poland), Alexander Voronin (Kaunas, Lithuania), Gleb Varava, Dmitry Ignatenko (both from Kremenchuk), Artem Grebenik, Evgeny Ratushny (both from Dnipro), Igor Merezhko (Odense, Denmark), Ivan Sysak (Sokol ), Filipp Pangelov-Yuldashev (Uniya, Poland).
Forwards: Alexey Vorona (Levice, Slovakia), Andrey Deniskin (Uniya, Poland), Gleb Krivoshapkin, Vitaly Lyalka (both from Kremenchuk), Ilya Korenchuk (Energa-Torun, Poland), Vladislav Kutsevich, Vadim Mazur (both from Sokol), Felix Morozov (Cholet, France), Dmitry Nimenko (Briancon, France), Yaroslav Panchenko, Nazar Ruzhnikov (both Energia, Lithuania), Alexander Peresunko (Poprad, Slovakia), Daniil Trakht (Lukko U-20, Finland), Denis Borodai (Dnepr ), Evgeny Fadeev (Krefeld, Germany).
In the reserve list of the blue-yellows remain: goalkeepers – Gleb Artsatbanov from the Czech Sparta U-20, Dmitry Kubritsky from the Canadian Dauphin Kings, defenders – Artur Terchiev from the American Savana, Artur Colach from the Canadian Barry Colt, forwards – Mikhail Simchuk from the Canadian Brooks Bandits and Andrey Mikhnov from Romanian Steaua. For these players, the club season has not yet ended, so hockey players cannot yet join the national team.
Recall that the 2023 World Cup in division 1B this year will be held on April 23-29. Ukraine’s rivals in Tallinn will be the national teams of Japan, Estonia, China, Serbia and the Netherlands.
