Victor Svedberg, Reed Boucher and Alex Broadhurst scored among the guests. In the third period, the Kazan team managed to take a goal after an accurate shot from Artem Lukoyanov, and then scored a second time three seconds before the final siren (Dmitry Yudin became the scorer).
In two starting meetings in Kazan the teams exchanged wins, the series score was 1–1.
The third game will take place in Omsk on April 5.
