NHL club Columbus Blue Jackets announced the extension of the contract with the Russian striker Egor Chinakhov.
The new deal was signed before the end of the 2023/24 season, Chinakhov’s annual salary will be $800,000.
– Egor has significantly improved his game this season, despite the fact that over the past few months he has missed many games due to injury. He is a talented player who wants to improve and we are very excited about his future at Columbus,” said club general manager Jarmo Kekäläinen.
In 30 matches of the season, Chinakhov scored 13 (4+9) points with a utility indicator of “-6”.
