Athletistic / Hockey The Buffalo Sabers will retire number 30, which belonged to goaltender Ryan Miller, reporter Kevin Wicks said on Twitter.

Miller became the second goaltender in franchise history to receive this honor. The first was legendary Czech goalkeeper Dominik Hasek.

The American defended the Buffalo goal from 2002 to 2014. In addition, the goalkeeper played for “St. Louis”, “Vancouver” and “Anaheim”. The guard retired with the Ducks in April 2021.

The Sabers finished 11th in the Eastern Conference last season with 75 points in 82 games and did not make the playoffs.
