Blue-yellows take second place in the IB Division
Ukrainian national ice hockey team won Estonia in the third round match World Cup 2023 V Division IB.
In the first period, the teams exchanged goals. In the second segment of the game, the Ukrainians got a comfortable advantage, scoring four times. Estonia responded with one accurate throw.
In the third period, the teams scored two more goals each. As a result, the victory of the Ukrainian team with a score of 7:4.
It should be noted that Ilya Korenchuk and Philipp Pangelov-Yuldashev made a double in the blue-yellow team.
This is the second victory of Ukraine at the 2023 World Cup. Earlier, the team of Vadim Shakhraychuk defeated Serbia (7:0). Also, the Ukrainians lost to China in overtime (4:5).
Ukraine is second in the division with seven points. Shakhraichuk’s team will play the next match on April 27 with the Netherlands. The beginning is at 16:00 Kyiv time.
