As previously reported by ,Avant-garde signed a one-year contract with the striker Vladimir Tkachev who played last season for the Los Angeles Kings.
Tkachev’s salary in the Omsk team will be 80 million rubles a year, excluding bonuses.
The Omsk club has not yet officially announced the deal, as the NHL documents have not yet been received to register the deal in the database of the Central Information Bureau (CIB) of the KHL.
Recall that was the first to report that Tkachev returned to Avangard – the player was born in Omsk, studied at the Hawks hockey school and even played two games for Avangard in the KHL in the 2013 season/ 14.
The forward’s rights belonged to SKA, but the St. Petersburg club sold them to Avangard for 1,000 rubles.
Tkachev scored 2 points (0+2) in four NHL games with Los Angeles last season and had 35 points (9+26) in 46 AHL games, including the playoffs.
