On Thursday, the Florida Flames defeated the Carolinas in Game 1 of the NHL Eastern Conference Finals 3-2 in fourth overtime. Bobrovsky saved 63 of 65 shots and set a franchise record.
“It was an attrition game. I just tried to be patient and wait for the moment, wait for the pitch. Right now you feel little about your body. It’s more about the mental state. You don’t think, you are completely focused on the game, – the NHL website quotes Bobrovsky.
– Bobrovsky played perfectly, everyone followed him. This is the overall work of the team, – said striker Matthew Tkachuk, who scored the game-winning goal.
The second game of the series between the Panthers and the Hurricanes will take place on May 20.
