Construction of a sports complex in St. Petersburg began in 2021.
— Enormous works to create a sports center are nearing completion. This fall, in September, the SKA Arena will be ready to host the first hockey games. In addition, it will be possible to hold competitions in 26 sports there – the arena will be one of the most functional in the country,” said the press service of the administration of St. Petersburg, citing the deputy governor .
During hockey matches, the arena will be able to visit 21,500 people, and up to 23,000 during concerts and performances.
