Canadian Kyle Dubas steps down as general managerToronto Maple Leafs according to the NHL club’s website.
The club haven’t renewed the deal with the 37-year-old manager.
“I want to thank Kyle for his dedication to the organization over the past nine seasons, including his last five years as general manager. Kyle has contributed to a great culture in the locker room and among the staff, and has always tried to improve the team. We wish Kyle the best for the future and thank him for his valuable contribution,” said Toronto President Brendan Shanahan.
Toronto has made the NHL playoffs five times in the past five years, but won only one Stanley Cup series.
