Athletistic/Hockey. In the group stage of the Ice Hockey World Championship, the Finnish national team won a convincing victory over the national team of Hungary.

The match, which took place in Tampere on May 19 in Group A, ended with the score 7:1 in favor of the Finns. Mikko Rantanen led the team with three assists. Atte Ohtamaa, Mikko Lehtonen, Yoel Armia, Antti Suomela and Kaapo Kakko also scored 2 points each. The Finnish national team with 10 points moved up to third place in the Group A standings, while the Hungarians have only 2 points, and they occupy the seventh, penultimate position.
