Athletistic/Hockey. In an interview with a journalist from Sport24, Honored Coach of Russia Vladimir Krikunov shared his opinion about the Russia-25 team, which played a series of matches against the national ice hockey team of Belarus.

He believes that this team would have deserved to participate in the current World Cup, although Russian athletes were not allowed to participate.

“I’m sure Rotenberg’s team could tear the Swedes, Finns and Czechs apart in this World Cup. We have great players in the Under-25s and this team has everything it takes to win. “The coaching staff is working well with the guys. I would really like to see them play against Western rivals. We would have shown the true level of hockey,” Krikunov explained.
