The International Ice Hockey Federation has published an updated list of the best teams in the world.
The IIHF publishes an updated ranking of the best teams after the completion of the world championships in all divisions. Note that the Ukrainian team retained the 27th place in the list.
It will be remembered that according to the results of its world championship in Division 1B, Ukraine did not improve in the class, losing in a decisive match to the Japanese team.
Canadians lead the way. “Wedge Leaves” again won the world championship in the elite division and topped Finland, which was second in the ranking.
The presence of Russians and Belarusians in the list is noteworthy. The latter have not played international matches for more than a year, however, they occupy the 3rd and 14th lines in the rating, respectively.
