Goalie “Florida Panthers” Sergei Bobrovsky considered the NHL’s most valuable hockey player favorite of the playoffs.
16 authors from the official NHL website participated in the vote to determine the main contenders for the “Conn Smythe Trophy” following the Stanley Cup results.
Bobrovsky received six votes. Jack Eichel (Vegas), Jonathan Marchesseau (Vegas), Matthew Tkachak (Florida) and William Karlsson (Vegas) were elected two each. Mark Stone (Vegas) and Edin Hill (Vegas).
Bobrovsky has played in 14 games in the current playoffs, in which he has won 11, reflecting 93.5% shooting with a reliability coefficient of 2.21. Florida will face the Vegas Golden Knights in the Stanley Cup Finals.
