“Sochi » concluded a new contract with Dmitry Kokorev who will work as head coach without the “interim” prefix, according to the team’s website.
In October last year, the specialist joined the Leopards coaching staff and on January 20, 2023 he was appointed as the interim head coach after Sergei Svetlov resigned. Previously, Kokorev worked in the Sochi system as the head coach of the Captain youth team.
Kokorev is the champion of Russia as part of Dynamo Moscow, the champion of Kazakhstan with the Saryarka team
Sochi failed to qualify for the KHL playoffs last season.
