To the coaches of Spartak under the direction of Alexei Zhamnov will enter Alexei Kovalev , Igor Ulanov Evgeny Perov and Sergey Klimkovich, as well as physical preparation coach Leonid Dmitrichenko.
Video coaches Alexander Solovyov and Roman Barinov will also continue to work in the coaching staff of HC Spartak.
At the end of the season, Spartak took 9th place in the Western Conference standings based on KHL regular season results and did not reach the playoffs. Zhamnov was appointed Spartak head coach in March 2023.
Last season, Olympic champion Kovalev did not work in the KHL. The 50-year-old specialist’s last job was Kunlun.
