Provorov’s contract, with an average salary of $6.75 million, runs until the end of the 2024/25 season.
Provorov was selected by Philadelphia in the 2015 draft with the seventh overall pick. Since then, he has played 532 games with the team in the NHL regular season, scored 217 points (65 + 152). In the playoffs, the defender scored three goals and provided eight assists in 22 games.
