Athletistic/Hockey. FHR President Vladislav Tretyak spoke about Florida Panthers goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky’s performance in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Tretiak noted that thanks to the brilliant performances of Bobrovsky, Florida was able to reach the final, despite the fact that the team was less strong than Vegas. Tretiak noted that the opponent has strong offense and defense, and reaching the final for Florida is a big achievement for the team. In his opinion, Boston, Toronto and Carolina were considered playoff favorites, but Florida managed to beat those teams, and 70% of that is Bobrovsky’s credit.
Regarding recent games with “Vegas”, Tretyak noted that the team’s defense was sagging, allowing the opponent to break through “two on one” and often play on the rebounds. There can be no questions for Bobrovsky.
