Russian goalkeeper contract Ivan Fedotov With “Philadelphia Cream” will be valid next season, according to the official to place national hockey league clubsNHL ).
Fedotov agreed to a one-year deal with Philadelphia in the 2021/22 season, however, in the summer of 2022 the hockey player was drafted into the Russian Armed Forces for one-year military service.
“In accordance with the collective agreement, goalkeeper Fedotov’s standard contract for the 2022/23 season has been canceled and will be valid during the 2023/24 season,” the statement read.
In the KHL, Fedotov defended the colors of Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk, Salavat Yulaev Ufa, Traktor Chelyabinsk and CSKA Moscow, in which he won the Gagarin Cup.
Fedotov is the silver medalist of the 2022 Olympics in Beijing.
