Former Amur captain, club record holder for most appearances in the Czech Republic, Dmitry Tarasov, has died at the age of 44.

Hockey club press office “Love” announced the death of its former captain Dmitry Tarasov .

– Yesterday in Khabarovsk, a student of Khabarovsk Amur, the club’s leader in the national championships in terms of the number of matches played and Russian champion in Salavat Yulaev, Dmitry Tarasov, died suddenly. He was 44 years old.

Tarasov, 44, played for Amur from 1997 to 2006 and again from 2011 to 2016. In the 2007/08 season he won Superleague gold with Salavat Yulaev and also played for Sibir, Dynamo Moscow and Spartak.
