Today, July 2, it became known that on June 28, the deadline for submitting applications for the next season of the Latvian ice hockey championship has expired. The Latvian Ice Hockey Federation has not received a bid from Dinamo Riga.
“Interestingly, in the first round of the NHL draft, not a single Latvian or Finn was selected. Remember, Jokerit also decided to leave the KHL – and we all see where that is gradually leading. It is interesting to see where Latvian and Finnish hockey in five years”, – quotes the specialist “Championship”.
