However, this contract cannot be registered because Fedotov already has an existing agreement with the Philadelphia Flyers. The goaltender’s contract is pending a response from the NHL regarding his status.
“If Fedotov signed a contract with CSKA, it means he wants to play there. And he will play there, but only after resolving his relationship with Philadelphia.
Of course, the KHL won’t register Fedotov’s contract without Philadelphia’s consent. Otherwise, it will be chaos. Then all of our hockey players with valid contracts will enter the NHL. Tomorrow they can take and sign, for example, Michkov,” Weisfeld said as quoted by Vprognoze.ru.
