Moscow CSKA officially declared that the goalkeeping coach Sergei Naumov has a valid contract with the hockey club for the next season and continues to work in the team.
On Tuesday, Naumov told that he remains coach at CSKA. Earlier, the media claimed that from next season the specialist will work as a team NHL New York Islanders .
– We officially announce that goalkeeper coach Naumov has a valid contract with CSKA hockey club for the 2023/24 season. Soon, the club’s official information resources will publish a pre-season training plan for the main team of CSKA. Sergei Ivanovich will begin to fulfill his professional duties during this preparatory process and will continue his activities at the CSKA hockey club throughout the upcoming season, the message reads.
Naumov, as a goalkeeper coach, won three Gagarin Cups with CSKA (2019, 2022, 2023).
