Athletistic/Hockey. SKA head coach Roman Rotenberg’s idea to organize field hockey in India was appreciated by sports commentator Dmitry Guberniev.
Guberniev supported the idea and said: “Since we were kicked out of the international hockey family, we have to try to capture the countries that will be interested in hockey with the help of hockey. Any movement is good. If we can’t play in Canada, then we’ll play in India and Mongolia “Only, it seems to me, we have to approach the African continent with caution. I’m not very sure whether we should play with Somalia or with the Central African Republic. As for Mongolia and India, I am all for it. You can play field hockey, it is advertising for a sport. In general, I am for any movement related to sport. Ice hockey, field hockey, sand hockey – it’s all cool.”
Earlier, Rotenberg talked about cooperation with BRICS countries in terms of hockey development.
