russian striker Vladimir Tarasenko rejected all the proposals he received to conclude a contract, reported in Twitter Larry Brooks, New York Post reporter.
– Tarasenko received numerous offers, both from Stanley Cup contenders and from teams that entered perestroika, with up to six million for different periods. He refused everything, including Carolina’s offer, then fired the agent.
Everything is very strange. He wanted to stay at Rangers, but there was just no room there,” Brooks wrote.
Tarasenko, 31, who spent the second half of last season with the New York Rangers, is an unrestricted free agent.
The forward moved from St. Louis to the Rangers in February on a trade. As a member of the Rangers, Tarasenko scored 21 points (8+13) in 31 NHL regular season games, in seven playoff games the Russian scored another 4 points (3+1) for performance.
