Togliatti “Lada” who will play in the KHL in the new season, following a trade with S.K.A. received five hockey players and sports rights for four other players.
As reported on the Tolyatti team website, Nikita Bogdanov, Evgeny Koreshkov, Georgy Solyannikov, Andrey Altybarmakyan and Alexei Ozhgikhin joined the Lada team. Togliatti received the sports rights of Grigory Gryaznov, Evgeny Kalabushkin, Pavel Koltygin and Nikita Popugaev, who had previously retired from blogging but later returned to hockey.
The Saint Petersburg club received monetary compensation in exchange.
Lada will kick off the new KHL season on September 2 with a home game against Traktor Chelyabinsk, while SKA will play Dynamo on the same day in Moscow.
