Head Coach “Colorado” Jared Bednar appreciated the contribution of the Russian striker Valeria Nichushkina in the team’s Game 2 win of the 2022 Stanley Cup Finals against Tampa (7:0).
Nichushkin scored twice in that game and was recognized as the game’s first star. Colorado took a 2-0 lead in the best-of-four series.
– I’ve said before that Nichushkin is very hard to stop when he has the puck. It is simply made to play the final. He can play with the best hockey players, he can be lowered at the link below, I would also like to rate his game in the majority. I don’t even know what else to say about him,” Bednar told the NHL Press Service.
The third game of the final series will take place on the night of June 21.
