The Russian is in unrestricted free agent status. He is continuing negotiations with the clubs.

Last season, Tarasenko was traded from the St. Louis Blues to the New York Rangers. He played 69 games in the NHL championship last season and scored 50 (18 goals + 32) points. In the playoffs, he had seven games and 4 (3+1) points.
