In a statement, the FHR said the decision on the Russian goalkeeper’s performance in the KHL would only be made after consultation with the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF).
“I’m not surprised that the FHR has turned to the IIHF for advice. It’s a natural process, everything is going according to plan.
