Athletistic/Hockey. Swedish club Djurgården has announced a permanent ban for hockey players playing in the KHL from the start of 2022.
The decision was taken at the general meeting of the club. It applies not only to players, but also to managers and other employees working in the Continental Hockey League over the past year and a half. However, it should be noted that the decision can be modified if new conditions are created.
It is the third Swedish club that does not accept hockey players and other KHL staff. Previously, two other Swedish teams, Brynäs and Frölunda, made a similar decision. Previously, Djurgården turned down goalkeeper Adam Reideborn after his contract with CSKA ended.
