Tampa Bay extended forward Jeannot’s contract by two years

Tampa Bay » extended the contract with the striker Jeannot Tanner according to the club’s press service.

Under the new two-year contract, the 26-year-old striker will earn an average of $2.665 million per year.

Thus, the parties avoided arbitration, the hearing was set for July 24.

Jeannot joined Tampa in February in a trade with Nashville. Then the Lightnings gave 1st round picks in the 2025 draft (conditional), 2nd round picks in 2024, 3rd, 4th and 5th round picks in 2023 and defenseman Cal Foote for the player.

Last season, the forward scored 18 (6+12) points in 76 NHL Championship games with Nashville and Tampa. In 3 games of the playoffs, the striker did not score with effective actions.
