“Chicago” signed a rookie contract with the Canadian striker Connor Bedard who was selected by the club under the first draft number NHL 2023.
The agreement with the 18-year-old hockey player is designed for three seasons. Under a standard rookie contract, the Canadian’s annual salary will be $950,000.

Previously, Bedard was recognized as the best player of the year by the International Ice Hockey Federation. The striker of the Canadian national team became the winner of the World Junior Championship, scored 23 (9 + 14) points and became the top scorer of the tournament.
During the last Western Hockey League (WHL) season, Bedard played 64 games with the Regina team, during which he scored 163 (81 + 82) points.
