Now I go through the Hockey Players Assistance Program run by the NHL and the Players Union. I hope that I will get the necessary help not to repeat such mistakes, – wrote Galchenyuk on social networks.

On Friday, Arizona announced the termination of the contract with the player.

Galchenyuk was selected by Montreal with the third overall pick in the 2012 draft, after which he played for the Canadiens for six seasons. Subsequently, he also played for Arizona, Pittsburgh, Minnesota, Ottawa, Toronto and Colorado. In total, the American played 654 games in the NHL, scored 354 points (146 + 208).
