Russian striker salary Ivan Morozov under a one-year contract with hockey “Spartacus” will amount to 26 million rubles, according to Metaratings.ru.
NHL club forward Vegas Golden Knights will play on loan at Spartak until the end of the 2023/24 season.
Vegas selected Morozov in the second round of the 2018 NHL Draft. He is a silver and bronze medalist at the world junior championships and also played at the World Cup for the main Russian team in 2021.
Last season, the 23-year-old hockey player played 58 games and scored 17 (6 goals + 11) points for Henderson, Vegas’ AHL farm club.
The new KHL season begins on September 1.
