The eight-time champion of Ukraine rejoined the Kyiv club
36 year old defender Vladimir Aleksyuk from the new season will again act as part of Falcon.
The experienced hockey player managed, in addition to the Kyiv club (2006-2010, 2022-23), to play for Donbass and Kremenchug. With the three mentioned clubs, he became the champion of Ukraine 8 times in total. As part of the Ukrainian national team, Aleksyuk played at four world championships.
Earlier, former Legion players Viktor Zakharov, Ruslan Romashchenko, Alexander Filimonov and Andrey Yavny joined Sokol.
Sokol became the champion of Ukraine in the 2022/23 season. Sokol is preparing for the next draw of the national championship under the leadership of Oleg Shafarenko.
Sokol will also compete in the Continental Cup 2023/24. The Kiev team got into group D of the second round, where they will play with the Serbian Red Star, the Hungarian Ferencváros and the winner of group B of the first round.
