Former goalkeeper for the Belarus national team and several KHL clubs Andrei Mezine entered the coaching staff of Minsk “Dynamo “, according to the press service of the hockey team.
Mezin worked as an assistant and goalkeeper coach in the Belarusian national team, Traktor, Avtomobilist. The specialist has already coached Dynamo Minsk in 2016-2017 and 2019-2022.
As a hockey player, Mezin played for Ak Bars Kazan, SKA St. Petersburg, Salavat Yulaev Ufa, Metallurg Magnitogorsk, Traktor Chelyabinsk, Avangard Omsk and Dynamo Minsk.
In April, the position of head coach of the Belarusian club was taken by Dmitry Kvartalnov.
Mezin participated in three Olympic Games and 15 world championships as part of the Belarusian national team.
