The 31-year-old hockey player’s contract with SKA was calculated until April 30, 2026.
– SKA and Roman Rukavishnikov have agreed to terminate the contract by mutual agreement between the parties. Roman has spent many years with our club, taking part in both league seasons in 2015 and 2017 and helping to win the Continental Cup in 2023. Our paths diverge – such is the life of hockey. However, we part as friends. I sincerely wish Roman success on the ice and beyond! — Rotenberg wrote on his Telegram channel.
In total, Rukavishnikov played 524 games in the KHL and scored 90 (20+70) points. As part of the SKA, he won the Gagarin Cup in the 2014/15 and -2016/17 seasons.
