Athletistic/Hockey. Janne Laakkonen’s former coach at Yuzhny Ural Hockey Club Andrey Kirdyashov reacted to the Finnish hockey player’s stories about his time in Russia.
In the 2014/15 season, Laakkonen played in the KHL. According to him, Russian hockey players drank large amounts of vodka in their free time and coaches hungover players in the morning.
Andrei Kirdyashov remembers Janne Laakkonen well. There has always been a good team in Orsk, where there was no room for trouble. He is surprised by his words, because Orsk has always had strict discipline, and Laakkonen felt good in the team, was always in a good mood, and no one forced him to drink alcohol. It sounds like pure fiction. Kirdyashov does not understand where this information comes from and why he decided to talk about his past experience in Russia in this way.
