Shesterkin Named to First Team All-Star at End of NHL Season

Ranger Guardian Igor Shesterkin Named to the NHL First All-Star Team in the regular season.

In the 2021/22 season, Shesterkin scored 36 wins in 53 regular season games, conceding an average of 2.07 goals and shooting 93.5%.

The all-season team also includes defensemen Roman Yosi (Nashville) and Cale Makar (Colorado), forwards Auston Matthews, Mitch Marner (both of Toronto) and Johnny Gaudreau (Calgary).

NHL Second Team All-Stars include Jacob Markstrom (Calgary Flames), Victor Hedman (Tampa Bay), Charlie McAvoy (Boston), Connor McDavid (Edmonton), Matthew Tkachuk (Calgary), Jonathan Huberdo (Florida)

Shesterkin was named the NHL’s Top Goaltender for the 2021/2022 season. The Russian goaltender won the Vezina Trophy.
