Matthews won the Ted Lindsay Award and the Hart Trophy at the end of the season.

Forward “Toronto” Auston Matthews won the Ted Lindsay Award. This award is given to the most outstanding hockey player of the season based on voting results among AJLNH (NHL Hockey Players Union) members.

The American striker played 73 games during the season, during which he scored 106 (60+46) points.

Matthews also won the Hart Trophy as the player who contributed the most to his team’s NHL regular season success.

Detroit Defender named rookie of the year Moritz Seider . The current Calder Trophy winner has scored 50 (7+43) points in 82 games this season.
