Two assists scored for “Tampa” leading scorer in the current NHL playoff draw Nikita Kucherov. The Russian striker assisted Stamkos and Maroon in the second half and helped his team to victory.
Due to Kucherov therefore already 26 points in the current playoffs. Only three players in NHL history have managed to reach the 25-point mark in three straight seasons. They are Wayne Gretzky, Brian Trottier and Mike Bossy.
Thanks to the victory, “Tampa” managed to close the gap in the final series – 2-1. The series will continue at Lightning Arena.
