CSKA can become the owner of the Gagarin Cup for the third time in a row, believes the goalkeeper of the capital club Ivan Fedotov .
Fedotov signed a rookie contract with NHL club Philadelphia Flyers in July 2022, but was drafted into the military for a year. After returning from service, he concluded a two-year deal with CSKA.
– I think the team will be able to do it, since the bulk of the guys stayed. The whole process is fine. Guys know that taste of victory, they know what and how to get results.
I think it’s crazy for people to let go of the idea that it’s possible to win the Gagarin Cup three times in a row, because no one has done it before. In my opinion, everyone will want to realize this and will do everything possible to achieve this,” Fedotov told Gazeta.ru.
In the 2021/22 season, CSKA beat Metallurg Magnitogorsk in the final series, and last season it was Ak Bars Kazan.
