The farewell match for Zaripov, 42, will take place on Wednesday at the Tatneft Arena in Kazan and will start at 7:00 p.m. (Moscow time). Vorobyov will lead the white team. Zaripov himself is expected to play a period for the Whites and the Greens.

– Very strong triplets, but I’m on the side of the one I worked with (smile).
Zaripov is a five-time Gagarin Cup winner with Ak Bars and three-time world champion Metallurg Magnitogorsk. During the last KHL championship, Zaripov played 15 games for Ak Bars. In total, the hockey player has 1301 games in the KHL and the Super League.
