Pupil “Tractor » Yevgeny Kuznetsov play for the National Hockey League clubWashington Capitals said he did not train this summer with the Chelyabinsk team due to the rules of the Continental Hockey League (KHL).
Earlier, reports appeared in the North American media about Washington’s plans to trade Kuznetsov to another team. The 31-year-old striker’s contract with a salary of 7.8 million dollars per season is calculated until the end of the 2024/25 season.

“I think the club has a good future. There is a strong team. Last season was a failure, but Traktor drew the right conclusions, made a good reinforcement. Maybe they wanted to save someone , but it didn’t work out. But I believe in this team – they have a good coaching staff and the guys are all fighting back. It shows, and I hope they do well.
– Should Vitaly Kravtsov’s return do him any good?
– Yes. Vitalik is a serious hockey player, and it’s good that he came for a few years. I hope that this season and the next will give him much more positive emotions. Last season, Kuznetsov played 81 games for Washington, scoring 55 (12+43) points with -26 utility.
