Head coach of the hockey club “Spartak” Alexei Zhamnov On , he announced that the club in the new Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) season starting in the fall will receive plenty of opportunities for roster rotation.
– We have guys who allow us to rotate in the list. It is very good! It’s not my first year at Spartak, but, probably, there hasn’t been such a rotation for a long time. Plus, of course, that’s the increase the club made this summer in the transfer market. I think it’s a big boost for the club,” Zhamnov said on .
At the end of the season, Spartak took 9th place in the Western Conference standings based on KHL regular season results and did not reach the playoffs.
The new KHL season begins on September 1.
