Athletistic/Hockey. The International Hockey Federation (IIHF) has imposed a one-year ban on international transfers for CSKA Moscow due to the situation with goalkeeper Ivan Fedotov’s contract, according to the IIHF press office.

This restriction came into effect on August 11 this year.

In the summer of 2022, Fedotov signed a rookie contract with the Philadelphia Flyers NHL club, but was called up for mandatory military service. At the end of his service, he signed a two-year contract with CSKA, which was registered in the Continental Hockey League (KHL) in July. Earlier, the IIHF announced the continuation of an investigation into the situation with Fedotov’s contract.
