“With deep sadness, we announce the death of our pupil, a brilliant young and talented striker, Rodion Amirov. Rodion was a strong, good-natured and cheerful person. For a long time he struggled with a serious illness. Despite all the difficulties, Rodion was always there for the team,
Sincere condolences to family and friends. Blessed memory,” the post read.
Amirov played 79 games in the KHL and the Gagarin Cup, scoring 18 (10+8) points with an overall utility rating of “-6”.
