Athletistic/Hockey. Today, August 14, the death of 21-year-old Russian hockey player Rodion Amirov was announced. The player’s agent Dan Milstein announced it on social networks.
Recall that in February 2022, the Salavat forward was drafted by Toronto in the NHL, then Amirov was diagnosed with brain cancer.
“It is with great regret that we announce the passing of Rodion Amirov. Two years ago, Rodion was diagnosed with a brain tumor. From the moment he received this news, he refused to speak negatively, deciding to enjoy every day, meeting him with the same positive attitude he has shown throughout his hockey career.
Both clubs have done everything possible to help in any way, to do whatever was necessary for Rodion and the Amirov family,” the message read.
