Former Ufa striker “Salavat Yulayev” Rodion Amirov will be buried in the capital of Bashkortostan, the hockey player’s agent Dan Milstein told .
Amirov died Monday at the age of 21 in Munich (Germany). In February 2022, it was reported that a student of Salavat Yulaev was diagnosed with a brain tumor. In April of that year, he underwent chemotherapy.
“Where will Amirov be buried?”
– Now we are engaged in logistics – we need to transport Rodion from Germany to Ufa. It will take several days,” Milstein told .
Amirov played 79 KHL games for Salavat Yulaev, scoring 18 points (10+8). He was selected 15th overall by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 2020 NHL Draft.
