Defender “Tractor” Victor Antipin explained why he chose the Chelyabinsk club as the place to continue his career.
Antipin is a two-time Gagarin Cup winner with Metallurg Magnitogorsk. He also played for SKA St. Petersburg, Moscow region “Knight” Ufa “Salavat Yulayev” and NHL club “Bison Sabers” . Together with Russian team he became a silver and bronze medalist of the world championships.
– Why did you choose Traktor to pursue your career?
– Traktor was interested, and so am I. We were therefore able to agree on this point. Traktor is a good team. Last season was not very successful for her, I don’t know why. A good technical staff, a solid workforce, so the season should be interesting.
– Sergei Telegin said that the task of “Tractor” is the Gagarin Cup. Does the team really have such a goal?
– Everyone in good, strong teams sets themselves such tasks, and Traktor is no exception. It’s a team with a history. We expect to compete for the Cup, we will try, – quotes the words of Antipin “RB Sport”.
