Moscow Coach “Dynamo” Oleksandr Savchenkov said he was worried ahead of contract extension with Blanc-et-Bleu head coach Alexei Kudashov and its headquarters.
Last season, Kudashov led Dynamo to the playoffs, where in the first round the capital team lost to Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod in six matches.
– Spring events around Kudashov and our headquarters? I didn’t have a particularly strong nerve. But, of course, to say I wasn’t worried at all would be completely wrong. The excitement was there, because something is happening, but we don’t know where it’s all going to lead. We were worried that something might go wrong, but in the end we keep working.
And at that time, there was a double feeling. And, of course, I was more worried not about myself, but about Alexei Nikolaevich (Kudashov), because he had more. He was directly involved in everything that happened, and we learned everything from rumors, calls and conversations, – Savchenkov is cited by the Championship.
The new KHL season kicks off on September 1 with the opening Cup game between CSKA and Ak Bars Kazan.
